The pillow filling consists of a soft, open-cell foam. To maintain the excellent properties of this material over time, proper care and cleaning are required.
The best way to clean the pillow is to wash it with a standard mild detergent at temperatures up to 60°C. Avoid using detergents containing strong chlorine or harsh chemicals. A brownish discoloration of the foam is unavoidable, but this does not affect the pillow's quality in any way.
After washing, remove as much water as possible by spinning the pillow. Then, allow the drained pillow to air dry on a rack. The pillow can also be tumble dried at up to 60°C, but over-drying should be avoided.
To ensure the pillow retains its shape, it needs to be fluffed regularly. Shake the pillow vigorously, knead it from all sides, and then flatten it again.

The cover is machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle or can be gently dry cleaned. After washing, allow the cover to air dry on a rack. The cover can be ironed at a low temperature after washing.
For quick cleanups, dog hair can easily be shaken out or vacuumed with the upholstery brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. To remove stains from the fabric, press a damp cloth onto the stain and wipe the fabric clean using circular motions. Repeat the process if necessary. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used.
Please avoid using solvents/concentrated abrasives or solvent-based cleaning products containing DMF (dimethylformadide), ketones, esters, methylbenzene or toluene when cleaning.
