The inner qualities also guarantee maximum comfort and sustainability. For ultimate sleeping comfort, the mattress is filled with viscoelastic recycled foam that perfectly adapts to the dog's body shape. Orthopedic viscoelastic foam is permanently elastic and provides optimal spinal support and relieves pressure on the joints. Sturdy foam side panels support the head and ensure that the bed retains its shape even with regular use.

The removable cover, like the foam parts, is machine washable. Like all MiaCara box bed covers, the Senso cover is also available separately, so you can give your dog bed a new look whenever you like.

Care:
Inlet side panels: The cushion fillings consist of an extremely soft, open-cell foam. To maintain the excellent properties of this material over time, the cushions should be cared for and cleaned appropriately.

The best way to clean the cushions is to wash them with a standard mild detergent at temperatures up to 60°C. Avoid using detergents containing strong chlorine or harsh chemicals. A brownish discoloration of the foam is unavoidable, but this does not affect the quality in any way.

After washing and rinsing, remove as much water as possible by spinning. Ideally, allow the drained cushions to air dry on a rack. The cushions can also be tumble dried at up to 60°C, but over-drying should be avoided.

To ensure the box bed retains its shape permanently, it must be shaken out regularly.

Mattress: Wet wash with standard mild or wool detergent at temperatures up to 30°C. Avoid using strong bleaching agents or chemically aggressive detergents, as residues of these additives can damage the viscoelastic foam during subsequent drying.

After washing and rinsing, remove as much water as possible by spinning. Ideally, allow the drained mattress to air dry on a rack. Alternatively, the mattress can be tumble dried at up to 60°C.

Cover: The cover is machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle or can be gently dry cleaned. Allow the cover to air dry on a rack after washing. The cover can be ironed at a low temperature after washing.

For quick cleanups, dog hair can easily be shaken out or vacuumed with the upholstery brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. To remove stains from the fabric, press a damp cloth onto the stain and wipe the fabric clean using circular motions. Repeat the process if necessary. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used.

Please avoid using solvents/concentrated abrasives or solvent-based cleaning products containing DMF (dimethylformadide), ketones, esters, methylbenzene or toluene when cleaning.
